Program Director/Host- The Louie Belina Show

Bio: The story of Louie Belina's journey to become program director of The Zone is a simple one.

He started working for the station in the early '90s and never left.

Louie came to College Station in the mid-1980s to attend Texas A&M. After many failed attempts to make it as a full-time student, he decided to persure his lifelong dream...become a pizza man!

Louie worked his way up the chain at Pizza Hut, but quit as he was on the verge of his big break to give radio a shot. He joined Bryan Broadcasting in 1991 as a weekend rock D.J. and did whatever needed to be done around the station for about 10 years.

SportsRadio 1150 "The Zone" was born on June 10th, 2000 and Louie Belina has been program director of the station and Host of "The First Word" eversince (not counting day two of the station, when Steve Miller filled in for Louie on the second day of The First Word).

Louie loves to boss people around, so this job is perfect for him. If this sports thing flames out down the road, Lou can always go back to his first love of making pizza.

But for now, it's all sports...all the time.

Listen to The First Word with Louie Belina, weekday mornings from 9-11am on SportsRadio 1150, The Zone.
